Cyclades Islands Santorini Perissa		Perissa is one of the most cosmopolitan and most frequented areas on Santorini Island.  Perissa is next to Emporio village a long dark sand endless beach. A feature that makes Perissa unique (besides the crystal water and the smooth sand) is the fact that is the best protected beach from the summer Aegean winds (called "Meltemia" in Greek). Perissa lies right next to Profitis Elias mountain, totally protected from the North.   Visitors of Perissa are offered many different activities to choose from, such as water sports, swimming and sunbathing, while one of the finest ancient cities ever discovered is located nearby. Perissa is also popular for its nightlife, as it provides a variety of taverns, cafes, bar and beach bars on the coastal road and in the side streets.
