Platis Yialos (or Platis Gialos) is the cosmopolitan and most well known beach in Sifnos, as well as one of the largest sandy beaches in the whole Cyclades islands complex. Platis yialos is situated at a distance of 12km from Apollonia village, the capital of the island, and 16km from the port of Sifnos.
