 Elatochori
is a small village in Greece in the province of
Pieria near Salonica. It has a growing small ski
resort and a very beautiful landscape. it is
also near Mount Olympus.The Elatochori Ski Centre is located on the North Eats side of the Pieria Mountains at the location ‘’Papa Chorafi’’ and on a height of 1450m. The establishments of the ski centre abstain 8klm from the region ‘’Elatochori’’ and 36klm from the city of Ekaterini. It disposes 6 ski tracks, but also a track for snowboarding and one for sleds. The total length of the tracks and the network of the snow distances that connects them with each other, is more than 10.000m. It combines extensive plains, high mountains and sandy beaches. The region's amazing beauty gives it a great potential for further tourist development. |
