Tolon, also known as Tolo, is a fishing village approximately 12 kilometers away from Nafplion, the first capital of Greece. The seaside village of Tolon is build in an amphitheatric shape around the main sandy beach of Tolon called “Psili Ammos” meaning “Fine Sand” .

 Tolon is well know for it’s many excellent fish taverns and good traditional restaurants mainly situated right on Tolo beach. In the area of Tolon, beyond the many fish taverns and restaurants, one can find quite a few bars and nightclubs to spend the night away in the company of Greek or foreign music.

Tolon resort offers many facilities for the holidaymaker including supermarkets, 3 banks, an internet cafe, tourist offices where one can book their trips to Spetses or Poros islands nearby, a trip to Monemvasia, Nafplion, Mycenae, Epidavros amphitheater and any other of the numerous sights and areas nearby Tolon.

From Tolon there are daily boat trips to the uninhabited islands of Romvi and Koronisi. The same boats also have daily trips to the beautiful beaches of Plaka which is situated around 2 kilometers away from Tolon and Kondili beach around 4 kilometers away
